Prevent Children’s tooth decay progressing further with SDF
SDF is used to treat early areas of tooth decay (not involving the pulp/ life of the tooth) mainly in children and sometimes in adults/ select few cases.
After a thorough examination and assessment for suitability, SDF is a clear liquid that is applied to the decayed tooth surface, washed out and the treatment is completed with or without a superficial dressing.
Regular monitoring is required following treatment with SDF which can be arranged with our practice.
