It has been 2 years since the practice had changed hands to the current Principal, Lakshmi Kanneganti. It has been incredibly demanding, not to mention COVID but we are very grateful for your continued support.

In this time, we have invested in new equipment and staff training to make your treatments world class and to meet good industry standards.

COVID 19 did effect appointment delivery but we are back open and here for all your dental needs albeit a bit slower than usual!

A new look for Martock Dental Practice

In April and May, we will be having some building work carried out at the practice. This new work will mean that the practice will have a downstairs patient toilet and it will also provide us with a separate discussion room where we can discuss treatment plans and queries in a private and confidential area. 

If you have an appointment in this time it shall remain and we will contact you to advise you of the latest protocol should there be any changes. 

We aim to keep disruption to a minimum but please be patient with us, there may be a bit of background noise! We apologise in advance for any inconvenience that may be caused during this time.

We are excited to show you our new look once completed. 

New team members

In 2019 we started off with 7 team members and we are now nearly 15! This expansion will hopefully translate for you to be seen more quicker with a greater support to your ongoing dental care. 

In the last few weeks, we welcomed Megan, dental nurse apprentice and Michelle, dental receptionist to the team. They are both settling in well and Megan is looking forward to starting her training course. We are sure they will make great assets for the practice and help looking after you even better.

In the end of May, we will have Dr Emmanouil Pagoulatos DMD starting with us working 2 days a week. He is a brilliant general dentist and is working towards an Advanced Restorative Post Graduate course from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in London. COVID-19 Update 

We are open and accepting bookings for both new and existing patients

Martock Dental Practice, has remained open to existing and new patients for routine and emergency appointments. Our hygienists are also back carrying out essential work to maintain your gum and overall dental health. They also accept direct access hygiene referrals. Click here to find out more 
We have made an enormous amount of effort to ensure our practice is COVID secure, safe and fully operational.

Weekly Staff testing

We are all now carrying out twice weekly COVID testing in order to keep our staff and patients safe and to keep asymptomatic spread to a minimum.

At Martock Dental Practice the safety of our staff and patients is paramount and we would like to advise you of some of the following changes-

  • You will be called the day before to go through COVID triage questions.
  • Please arrive at your appointment time, a member of the team will greet you at the door where you will be asked to use the hand sanitiser.
  • We ask that patients attend the practice on their own unless you are a carer or a parent accompanying a child.
  • Please respect social distancing, where possible.
  • You shall be asked to leave your belongings in a box within the dental surgery, please bring as little as possible with you. We cannot accept liability for your belongings.
  • Please be advised we are NOT currently accepting cash payments.
  • Please be advised that the patient toilet remains CLOSED.

If you, a family member or someone in your support bubble has confirmed COVID-19 or any of the following symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has the following symptoms, we politely request that you postpone your appointment-
•Fever (a temperature over 37.8 degrees centigrade).
•A new persistent cough.
•Loss of taste and smell.

We are very grateful for your continued support and understanding over these difficult times.

Some of our staff may need to shield during these times, we are making every effort to minimize the inconvenience to you and will aim to cause as little disruption as possible to your schedule but we are ever so grateful for your continued support and understanding over these difficult times.

Direct access Hygienist appointments available

Our highly trained Hygienists have been looking after our patients at Martock Dental Practice. If you are stuck with no dental hygiene appointments then we can help- both our lovely Hygienists accept Direct Access Self Referrals. They would however, write to your own dentist to make sure that the treatment they carry out is in line with the requirements set out by them- that way everyone is kept in the loop and aware of any possible changes that need closer attention.
